United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
The United Nations Human Rights Council is a United Nations body whose mission is to promote and protect human rights around the world. The Council has 47 members elected for staggered three-year terms on a regional group basis. The headquarters of the Council are at the United Nations Office at Geneva in Switzerland.
Disarmament & International Security Committee (DISEC)
The United Nations General Assembly First Committee is one of six main committees at the General Assembly of the United Nations. It deals with disarmament and international security matters. The First Committee meets every year in October for a 4–5 week session, after the General Assembly General Debate.
United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC; French: Office des Nations unies contre la drogue et le crime) is a United Nations office that was established in 1997 as the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention by combining the United Nations International Drug Control Program (UNDCP) and the Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Division in the United Nations Office at Vienna. and was renamed the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in 2002.
All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM)
All India Political Party Meet is a non-technical but powerful committee. It is a meeting between all the political parties of the nation. Typically called before the session of the Parliament or before the introduction of a bill, this committee aims to arrive at a consensus before the sessions begin. Well, here is where the main drama goes down. :)
International Press (IP)
As members of the IP Delegation, you will be a part of a simulation unlike any other at CMRCET-MUN. Instead of representing the interests of a single country, the International Press Delegation allows participants to act as unbiased journalists, reporting on the proceedings of each simulation in the Conference. You will investigate committee debates, conduct interviews, edit articles, and cover press conferences.
